Who we are

PLATE — Road Trip Bingo is operated by CWParks Holdings, LLC, doing business as 41 North Games ("we", "us"). For the personal data described in this notice, CWParks Holdings, LLC is the data controller.

What we collect and why

We try to collect only what we need to run the game. The categories below cover everything we handle.

Account data

Email address and (optional) display name. We use this to create and authenticate your account, save your progress, and identify you in multiplayer rooms. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

Game and room data

The plates you spot, rooms you create or join, and game results. Used to play the game and let other players in your room see your activity. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

Purchase data

If you buy the 41 North Games Family Pass, we record that your account holds the Pass along with the transaction ID and customer ID returned by our payment processor. Card details are handled by Paddle and are never stored by us. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

Technical and usage data

Basic device and browser information, IP address, and event logs. Used to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud, and fix bugs. Legal basis: legitimate interests in operating a secure service.

Support messages

If you contact us, we keep the message and our reply so we can follow up. Legal basis: legitimate interests in supporting users.

Cookies and local storage

We use a small amount of browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember settings (such as your display name). We do not use third-party advertising or marketing trackers.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the parties needed to run PLATE:

  • Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, and authentication for the Service.
  • Paddle — our reseller and Merchant of Record for all purchases. Paddle handles payments, taxes, invoicing, subscription management (where applicable), refunds, and related customer service.
  • Professional advisers — such as legal or accounting providers, where required.
  • Authorities — when required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

How long we keep data

We keep account and game data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period unless we are required to keep it (for example, to meet tax or legal obligations on payment records).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and using reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Children

PLATE is family-friendly, but accounts are intended for users aged 13 and older. Younger players should use the Service alongside a parent or guardian's account.

We may update this notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when changes were last made.
